It's time for another comic review on The Broken Infinite. Here's the end of the first arc of X-O Manowar, how is it? Like with Harbinger this review is a bit truncated because it's assumed you've read the previous three issues so there will be no characters segment.
Review by Jeremias de Leon
Story
The story follows Aric Dacia as he lands on earth in the X-O Manowar armor and in his confusion wrecks everything in his path. Aric wonders where the Visigoths are and destroys Italian fighter jets while asking the pilots about the Roman emperor and everything. During the carnage Aric realizes how much time has passed and realizes he's 1600 years removed from his time.
The story ends the first arc of Manowar well. When Manowar returns to earth we see a plot to try and destroy him. It transitions to it's next arc by mentioning that the plot to destroy him concerns a "professional" which if you've seen the preview for issue 5 here on The Broken Infinite you already know I'm talking about Ninjak. Boy does Ninjak make one heck of an entrance, if you're a fan of a certain video game you'll know exactly what his entrance should remind you of.
Art
X-O Manowar really looks great Cary Nord really knows how to depict action. It was a blast to read this comic because of the art. The colors are nice and vibrant and really make the line-art come alive. This happens to be some of my favorite this entire year. The action just really stands out to me.
Verdict
X-O Manowar has a lot of great action and issue 4 with it's ending of one arc and well done transitioning into another arc. It's gotten me hyped to see what's next and what kind of epic things we'll see with Ninjak. So I wholeheartedly believe this issue should be picked up, not only for the great action but with the epic debut of Ninjak this can't be missed.
I give this a 9 out of 10.
