Gaming News: Castlevania film in development, In middle in filming.



In a surprising announcement today, an iconic Star Trek: TNG alum announced that not only he had a part in the in development hell film adaptation of the classic Konami game series, Castlevania but also, said adaptation is already in the middle of filming.


In the recent episode of the Nerdist podcast hosted by Chris Hardwick, Michael Dorn who is more famous for playing  Lt. Wolf in Star Trek: TNG and The U.S. President in the second half of Season 3 of Heroes, announced that he's playing a werewolf in the upcoming film.



Dorn quoted:
"It's a fun little part. It's four days and I'm playing a werewolf that's been around for a gajillion years who works for this vampire. It's not too far from Worf (Dorn's most notable role) because there's a lot of killing and jumping and sword fights and everything." 



With additional details from another interview courtesy of StarTrek.com, he revealed that he go involved with the film through fellow TNG cast member, Marina Sirtis. Sirtis is famously known for playing Commander Denna Tori in The Next Generation.


No other details such as director, writer(s), producers or other cast/crew members have been confirmed as of yet, but with this recent development it's likely that we will hear more news in the recent weeks to come.
