Comic News: Masters of the Universe Gets Ongoing In Time For A Family Reunion

“By the Power of Greyskull!”

That phrase was one of the most memoriable to any child of the 80s, early 90s and 2000s.  The Masters of the Universe has enthralled people with their media for decades. And the recent miniseries, now written by Keith Giffen, will be ending soon. Yet, DC announced that the Masters of the Universe will soon have a new ongoing series.

Yep. He-man will have a new ongoing comic coming this April. The first arc in the new ongoing will feature the return of the much requested and fan-favorite twin sister of He-Man, She-Ra. She returns in time to face her old enemy, Hordak, alongside her brother. Problem is that She-Ra will not be herself … not at first as she will come in as Despera, Hordak’s deadliest warrior. There has not been full confirmation that this will pick up where the mini left off but seems logical. Giffen will be joined by artist Pop Mahn.

Masters of the Universe # 1 (ongoing) written by Keith Giffen and art by Pop Mahn will hit stores this April.
