Special 50th Review: Fansproject Function X-1 (Chromedome)

For my 50th review I decided to review something special.  Going back to my transformers reviews I will start with a Fansproject toy called Function X-1 aka Headmasters Chromedome. Chromedome is actually one of my most favorite headmasters and I am glad that there is finally an articulated version of the character. Because this toy is made by a third party company the usual quality is slightly questionable but overall its actually pretty well made.  His head can turn into a separate robot though you won't be getting any extra articulation then its g1 version.  His transtector though is a far improvement to original though limited due to his design.  It would have been better if it allowed movement on the arms but otherwise its a slick design.  The joints are quick tight though so if you do decide to get him be warned that some parts may require a little more force.  If you were originally detoured by the original pics of the toy it is alot better in person.  I got this figure from BBTS during the whole TOT promotion so if you want him check to see if they will restock the figure.
