Word has spread that legendary Carmine Infantino has passed
away. Infantino born in Brooklyn ,
NY back on May 24th 1925,
was a powerhouse of a creator in the silver age of the industry. He worked on
Batman, co-creator of the Human Target, along with other characters with the
Flash mythos.
Carmine Infantino, will be surely missed. Here is a comment
from a NY based artist Pete Hernandez III: RIP Carmine Infantino, he was a
great teacher. He'd fill in for Gene Colan when I was in college whenever Gene
had gigs or had to do business in LA. Also RIP Roger Elbert, a fun reviewer and
always fun to listen to. He and Gene brought life to that profession.
RIP Carmine Infantino, from the Broken Infinite.
