Comics News: Action Lab Returns to Denver Comic Con and Comic Book Classroom

Official Statement on DENVER COMIC CON

PITTSBURGH P.A February 25,2014- Action Lab Entertainment has been working with Denver Comic Con ("DCC") and the Comic Book Classroom ("CBC") for several years. We wholeheartedly support both the presence of a great comic convention in Denver, and the CBC's mission to place comic books in the classroom as a tool to help children read.

Since  October 2013 Action Lab has volunteered our time, and in cooperation with some of our creators, has also donated some of our intellectual property for development of the CBC curriculum.  we have worked with members of the CBC board since October of last year and can attest that efforts have been under way to develop a national curriculum during that time period. We have found those with whom we have been working at the CBC to have been professional and enthusiastic in their efforts.

Action Lab has exhibited at DCC in the past and we hope to continue a fruitful relationship with all parties involved. It is our wish that an amicable solution can be found so that  Comic Book Classroom’s stated mission can continue.
