Cosplay Hottie of February 2013

hey there infiknights hope all is well this week of valentines day for those lonely nerds out there please enjoy the gorgeous Nana Valtiel

What are your favorite geek vices of choice? books, Comics, video games, anime

What got you into anime/comics etc? I'm the only girl on my mother's side of the family. So growing up around boys I got into Japanese monster movies like Godzilla, Gamera, etc. I started watching anime at 2 years old. My first anime was Project A-ko
What got you into cosplay? I always loved dressing up. Even though i was a tom-boy I still had to have coordinated clothing, matching shoes, socks, and dress down to a tee. When I was 10 I learned to sew and my first cosplay was Princess jamine from Aladdin lol
What are some of your favorite anime/games? Anime: Cowboy Bebop, Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Devil May Cry (anime and Game), Death Note, and like 100 other more lmao Games: Final Fantasy 6-8, 10, 12 & 13, The Tales of the Abyss, Devil May Cry,God Of War, Heavnly Sword, Heavy Rain, Castlevania.
What are your favorite food? Food, if i can spell it, it isnt spicy, or if it doesnt smell like ass I will probably eat it lol
What is the best part of cosplaying? I get to bring characters to life for people. I get to not be myself for a day or  I like being able to let go of myself entirely and being someone opposite my already very complicated personality. I love that I dont have to be the best to love what I'm doing. Its fun, its an escape from reality, and while its expensive at times - its healthy in my perspective. The best part is getting little kids running up to me asking for a photo, that always makes my day

Cosplay Hottie of the Month: November 2012

Hello to all you InfiKnights with Turkey day right around the corner I know you all have cravings and I'm not just talking about Grandma's stuffing. so here goes what you really want this months Cosplay Hottie Caroline Knight  What are your favorite geek vices of choice?- I guess for me it would have to be collecting merchandise from The Dark Knight series, (mainly The Joker :D), Playing video games on Xbox 360 or PS3. What kind of games? There's too many that I could list *laughs*, and Reading comic books/manga.
What got you into anime/comics etc?- It started when I was in 7th grade where I would see these commercials on cartoon network advertising new anime (back then: Rurouni Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakusho) and decided to watch an episode to see what it was about and I got hooked to the anime series right away and anticipate for the next episode then.
What got you into cosplay?- My first time cosplaying was back in 2009 at the 1st Annual Long Beach Comic Con and I cosplayed mainly for fan devotion of my favorite characters. Before that, I was always seeing Comic-Con photos of people dressed up, so I also figured that you had to dress up for a comic convention as your favorite character even though no one had too.

What are some of your favorite anime/games?-So far, I would have to say that Skyrim, Castlevania Lords of Shadow, and Batman Arkham Asylum are my favorite video games. I remember playing on Skyrim for 5 hour straight since you get the feeling of being wrapped up in that game world!

What are your favorite foods?-Udon, Crunch Roll, and anything that tastes sweet.

What is the best part of cosplaying?- Having fun, not cosplaying to please others, but only yourself and expressing your fan devotion to the character that you cosplay as.

And that's this months cosplay hottie the lovely Caroline Knight Keep your eyes open at cons for her I know I will :-)

Cosplay Hottie of the Month October 2012

Hey there Infiknights , your Friendly Neighborhood Infiknight here coming at you with my first selection for Cosplay     Hottie of the Month. So without further ado I introduce to you the lovely Kit Kat Caughtcha.

1 . What are your favorite geek vices of choice?
I’m into most of the geeky pastimes you can think of. I love anime, comics, manga, video games, etc. I wish I could get into tabletop games more, but finding the time to do that has been difficult.

2. What got you into anime/comics etc?
I remember stumbling upon Toonami when I was in elementary and middle school, but everything was cemented when I saw Yu Yu Hakusho for the first time on Adult Swim. I completely fell in love with the story and the characters and just couldn’t imagine that something that good had existed without me knowing. When I finally saw Cowboy Bebop I knew it was a lifelong love.

3. What got you into cosplay?
I honestly was just roaming around the internet one day last year and ran into cosplay.com. I hadn’t really known there was that big of a cosplay community and just from looking through pictures and reading the forums I wanted to be part of it. About a week later I bought my Otakon ticket and started planning. The rest is history.

4. What are some of your favorite anime/games?
I am a huge Shin Megami fangirl, so I love every game I’ve played in that series, including Persona 3&4, Devil Survivor, and Nocturne so far. I’m also a huge fan of classics, but since my genre of choice is JRPGs and playthrough times for me are pretty crazy (completionist), I haven’t gotten through as many as I’d like.
In terms of anime I could pick a favorite from almost every genre… But a few of my all time favorites would be Serial Experiments Lain, Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho, Claymore, and Betterman.

5. What are your favorite foods?
I could literally eat pizza every day, constantly, if it wouldn’t make me chubby :/
I am also partial to ice cream sundaes

6. What is the best part of cosplaying?
Getting to escape from reality and be someone else for a day. It’s fun that you can go from a school girl to a warrior princess in the space of one weekend con just by changing your outfit
