Ugli Studios is proud to announce the official
release of the Stand Alone Black and White Artist’s Edition of “The Painted
Ladies of San Quentin”
This is a 22 page western with Art by Lenox, Writing
by David Paul, lettering by David Sharpe and edited by Kevin Truglio.
The new edition features a new cover by Lenox, a
back cover by Games Workshop and U.K. gaming legend Russ Nicholson and new
pinups by Dani Kaulakis, Joe Freistuhler, Mikey Woods and Dave Sharpe.
Jason Lenox is an illustrator who specializes in
pencil and india ink rendering and sequential artwork. Jason has done pinup work for FUBAR‘s “By the
Sword“, The Aizan Demo Project, Wyrlwynd’s Kantara Comic Issue #4 He has also previously published three books
under Ugli Studios; The Art of Jason Lenox Vol. 1 and Ugli Studios Presents #1
& #2.
A brief description of the project is as follows
The
Painted Ladies of San Quentin
A violent western set in the backdrop of a dangerous Northern
California town in 1850 as a land deal gone wrong turns the wheels of violence
on the guilty and innocent alike and only one man is willing to stand up for
what's right, Elijah Holman.
