The sequel miniseries, according to an interview Gillen had with CBR and from the panel, the story will start several years from the end of the original miniseries which was written by Paul Jenkins.
This time, the miniseries will focus on Wolverine, after years with living amongst the wolves, gets literally dragged back to society during the dawn of the 20th Century. And as it deals with Logan looking at civilization at the time, it will also deal with classic X-Villain, Mr. Sinister, at the dawn of his career.
Gillen stated that it is very much inspired by Jack London's novel, White Wolf and will also see how Nathan Essex started down his road to becoming Mr. Sinister.
