SIC Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Rising Ultimate Kuuga Review

I don't normally get SICs but I decided that Rising Ultimate Kuuga is an expection because the SHF is really expensive. After getting it in hand I am surprised how much I like the figure though the spiked parts are a bit sharp so be careful moving around the figure. Personally I think the SIC design works well with the form because he already had a SIC look to him. One issue with the figure I had over time is that his right leg got a little loose but he does still stand and display with no problems. I got this figure from amiami for around $15 so its safe to say its worth the amount I paid for so if you find him in stock pick him up. please rate comment subscribe

Power Rangers Megaforce Hyper Change Zord/ Ultra Gosei Great Megazord Review

The Ultra Change Zord is the final Zord released in the Megaforce toyline until the Fall Line. With it you can power up Gosei Great into the Ultra Gosei Great Megazord.  Interestingly enough they decided to scrap Datas Hyper out of the combination even more by making the Hyper Change Zord apart of the regular bike line.  Its really weird that Bandai America decided to call it a Sea Lion when its supposed to be based on a bullet.  Anyways the header itself is kind of a small piece of plastic since they scrapped the whole head transformation gimmick.  Also as much as its nice they decided to sell it as a a part of the regular bike line its kind of a waste to have another remolded Knight Brothers body since its not in the show. The only purpose to buy this is if you want Hyper Gosei Great otherwise its a big pass since its pretty lame on its own sadly.  I guess you could attach it to the Gosei Blaster/ Megaforce Blaster but its pretty much just combination fodder.

Power Rangers Megaforce Lion Mechazord Review

Back from the Christmas break so here is my review of the Power Rangers Megaforce Lion Mechazord. Megaforce isn't on air yet and still almost all of the mecha have been released which is making it hard to catch up on them. Anyways here is the Lion Mechazord or Groudion from Tensou Sentai Goseiger. The American version isn't too different from the Japanese one but they are a few minor differences which doesn't really affect it much besides the added missiles. It still has the ability to remove the lion header and the good part is that it can still turn into a Robo Knight/ Gosei Knight figure. Unfortunately I don't have the Sky or Sea Lion bikes so I can't make the real combinations but the shark and phoenix mechazords look okay as a temporary limbs. The Lion Mechazord is a pretty good alternative for Groundion so if you couldn't afford the Japanese version this one is a nice replacement. SHF Exclusives for April and May

The official Tamashii site has posted the exclusives Figuarts of April and May so lets get this started.

First off we get Momotaros' evil counterpart Negataros.  With this the only main Imagin that is missing is still Teddy.  Also since Negataros has been announced its most likely that Nega form will be announced as well. He is priced at 3675 yen and will be released in April.

Next we got the movie version of Rock Bison from Tiger and Bunny.  I dont know much about this character and I can't really tell what the design changes are from the original release but I will leave the Tiger and Bunny fans to see the difference.  He will also be released in April priced at 5040 yen.

The last exclusive in April is the Saiyan Armor version of Vegeta.  This version of him was seen during the Saiyan saga so if you wanted to wait for his original design you can finally get him.  He will come with several accessories such as alternate faces, a scouter, additional hands, crossed arms, and tail parts. He is priced at 3990 yen so Dragonball fans get ready for his release.

Now moving on to the May Releases we finally get Deka Pink and Deka Yellow so those who want a complete team of Dekarangers its almost finished. They are priced are both priced at 3780 yen.

The last exclusive for now is actually something interesting.  For those who remember there was an exclusive effect set for Fourze that was released at Tamashii Nations earlier this month.  Well now it looks like Bandai will continue the effect sets for Wizard as well.  This set will contain parts that will allow you to pose Wizard as he is about summon his Wizard Gun or attacking with Flame Style and Water Style.  In addition it will contain flame attack parts for his flame kick as well as the Plamonsters?   Lastly it will come with the Big hand effect part which is going to be really massive. The price for this set is going to be 3360 yen.   Original post via TokuAnimeNews.

The Lost Review of Super Fighting Robot Week: Snakeman

Okay so in the last video I said it was the last robot master well I also had one more robot master but I didnt have the missile until now.

Sorry for the long hiatus.  I have been busy the last week or so and then I got a cold which didnt help.  Today I do feel a lot better so I decided to finally bring out the "Lost Review of Super Fighting Robot Week."  The only reason I say the lost review is because the robot master I reviewed didn't have the missile at the time.  Now that I do I can finally give you a review of the robot master Snakeman.  Snakeman was the most seen robot master besides the main trio and he is a pretty cool robot master as well.  He had a stereotypical snake like rasp but at least he wasn't that annoying overall.  The figure itself though has a slight stability issue because of the heavy weight of his snake hair piece causing him to topple over.  The snake missile is actually one of the best looking missile design and it really helps the figure look even better then it does.

Super Fighting Robot Week: Brightman

This is the last day of Super Robot Fighting week and the last robot master to review is Brightman.  He is a strange looking one and he has a blaster he never used in the show which is really stupid.  Not to mention his power wasn't that great either.  He is in my opinion the weakest of the line so its a hit or miss if you want to add him to your collection.   Ironically I did get him with the box which I didn't bother showing although it might have been nice to do so.  I have one more robot master named Snakeman but he didn't come with his missile so I didn't review him but I did mention him in the review.  To make it short Snakeman is a pretty cool figure too but it would have helped if he had his missile.  There is one last figure in the line named Elecman but he is a pain to get due to his price so I didn't get him yet.

Super Fighting Robot Week: Bombman

This is day six of Super Robot Fighting Week and with one day left we now take a look at Bombman. He actually is a pretty cool looking robot although he ended up being most of comedic value of the episodes he appeared in due to the fact he got blown off by his own bomb more then half the time. The Oklahoma bombing really did effect the rarity of this figure and it also probably caused the disappearance of another robot master that was to appear in the series named napalman. This particular figure can be hard to find and the price can pretty steep but if you can find a good deal go for it.

Super Fighting Robot Week: Gutsman

We are now on day 4 of Super Fighting Robot week and this time its the review on Gutsman.   I always liked gutsman even in the video game and I am glad to have a figure of him.   I do wish he came with the brick instead of the fire hydrant as it not only looks stupid in Megaman's blaster but it just doesn't work too well with Gutsman either.  He is the last of the main three that Dr. Wily Summons in every episode and he is an okay figure.   His gimmick works for him but it does slightly hinder him a bit in terms of articulation.

Super Fighting Robot Week: Protoman

This is day 2 of Super Fighting Robot Week with Protoman.  He is Megaman's brother who was created by Dr. Wily.  His scarf can be very fragile if you are not careful as it may tear if you pull on it hard enough.   He is basically a "copy" of megaman in the way of how he is built.  In the video games he usually is a good guy though who carries and shield and at times has a flute playing his theme.   He too different to Megaman so if you like Protoman more or if you want to get him along with his bro I recommend him.

Super Fighting Robot Week: Megaman and Rush

Hello readers I did a full week of reviews about the rare Megaman figures made from Bandai and I decided to post them here.

Hello readers I did a full week of reviews about the rare Megaman figures made from Bandai a while back
This is the first part of Super Fighting Robot Week with the main characters of the show Megaman and Rush. At first I didn't think think of the title which is why it wasn't mentioned in the review but I will mention it in the following reviews of the week. This video was suggested by Eugene42181 and Wheelchair21 because they told me there is a large fanbase for Megaman. These are action figures that was released in the 90s with pretty cool sculpting and cool accessories. Its a shame they only made some of the robots in the show as the show got cancelled after season 2. I am surprised how well these figures are made and the features they have actually work really well for them.

Tamashii Nations Day One Coverage

Earlier this morning Tamashii Nations has shown the new line-up of figures ranging from SHFs to even Monsterarts.

To start off with we finally get a look at Kamen Rider Blade in SHF form.  He is one the three Pre-Decade Heisei Riders that hasnt been released in the Figuarts line until now.  He looks pretty nice so far and it will be cool to see if Bandai will show the other riders from his series in the next couple of days.

In the next picture we get a look at a whole bunch of Showa related SHFs.  We can see Appolo Geist who was a really huge fan wanted figure along with Riderman and Kamen Rider X.    Also Stronger fans can finally get a Tackle to go along with their Stronger Figuart.   They even decided to show a regular shocker solider so I guess you can army build those as well.

Next we got a confirmation that the rest of the Zodiarts will be released.  At this point I wonder how Bandai will decide to release these since most of the ones released so far were exclusive so possibly some of these newer ones will be a regular release.

In the following image we get a look at the rest of the riders from Kamen Rider Faiz along with the Horse and Wolf Orphenochs.   I am glad to see that they made a Wolf Orphenoch because I really liked his design and it will be cool to display him next to Faiz.  Something tells me he is going to be exclusive but at this point I can't even tell how much shown will even be released to begin with.

To go along with the announcement of Space Sheriff Gavan, Metal Heroes fans can will be pleased to see that Bandai has decided to make Shaider and Sharivan as well.  Seeing as Toei is trying to revive Metal Heroes these SHFs are nice to help promote the franchise and a nice addition to the fans collections.

The next image reveals that the rest of the Ryuki Riders will be released in the SHF line.  For this series its hard to tell how they will release them because of the whole contract monster thing getting in the way.  Most Kamen Riders dont have a specific partner of some sorts so being a series that mostly revolved around them makes it difficult to release them.

Moving along we also can also see that Bandai is once again catering to Power Rangers fans with the reveal of the MMPR Green Ranger or Dragon Ranger from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.  It looks as though the Dragon Shield is indeed removable so if it is we can make MMPR Red to wear it. At this point its pretty much inevitable that the other rangers will be released as well so we finally get a definitive figure team of the original Power Rangers.

For those who Superhuman Samurai fans you should be glad that Zenon has also been announced to go alongside Servo so the only one that needs to be released is Drago.

Finally we also find out the other "she" that Bluefin was referring to and it was none other then SH Monsterarts Biollante.  The massive female Kaiju is sure to be the most expensive and the biggest figure yet in the line.  So this has been a look at day one at Tamashii Nations so stay tuned for the next couple of days for new announcements.  Source: TokuAnimeNews via Tokunation

Kamen Rider Wizard Flame and Water Style SHFs

Recently in a FigurOh magazine we finally get to see a look at the upcoming Kamen Rider Wizard Flame style form and a newly announced Water Style SHFs.  With Tamashii Nations around the corner this is just a first peak in what we have in store for.

Flame Style will be released in February next year at the price of 3500 yen.  Water Style is the first Wizard exclusive SHF and will be released in March for the price of 3675 yen. Unfortunately the compound eye effect that most Figuarts have are not present on these Wizard SHFs but hopefully they will add that to the Dragon Style because personally I think it wouldn't look as good if it didn't.  Source: TokuAnimeNews via Tokunation
